What
do I have to do to get started?
Getting started has never been easier, simply click on the order button
at the hosting page and fill
out the form with your info. We simply need some basic information from
you such as name, hosting plan of choice, billing arrangements and then
we'll take care of the rest. Your account will be developed within 15
minutes and a welcome email will arrive to you within an hour with all
the necessary information you need to begin developing your site immediately.
Our professionals will handle the rigorous hardware/software configuration
so that you can enjoy managing your new online presence.
How will I be billed?
QuickStart Hosting offers four options
for your automated billing. Your account will automatically be billed
from any major credit card of your choice (Visa, MasterCard) either monthly,
semiannually (every 6 months), annually (once a year), or for the greatest
discount, once every 2 years.
Is there a setup charge?
There is currently a one-time setup charge
for any of our packages.
How
long until my account is completely setup and accessible?
On average we usually have accounts setup
within 15 minutes from the moment you submit your order (this holds
true 24/7 regardless of when you order). Upon successful completion/validation
of your order you will receive an email with the necessary information
to login and begin working on your site. This email usually takes about
an hour to arrive and includes your user name, password, FTP information
(you can begin uploading immediately), IP address and special welcome
from our Team. Everything you need to begin will be in the email message
that you receive (please print a copy for you records). Domain name users
will be supplied with a temporary URL that will allow them to work on
their site until the Domain registration/transfer is complete.
When can I access my
web site via the Control Panel FTP/POP?
You can literally access your web site
via your Control Panel 24/7 from anywhere around the world. All you need
is a computer with an active internet connection and a browser.

Can I transfer an existing
domain to your servers?
Yes, it's actually a very easy process.
All you have to do is contact the Domain Registrar - (person you registered
the domain with) and provide them with our server information. This is
usually done online by filling out a form that submits to the domain registrar
with the proper modification of your DNS information. - In short they
change your domains server information so it points to our servers.
Once you sign up for hosting you're emailed a welcome letter within 10-15
min, which gives you the server information along with the necessary login
information so you can get into your new web based control panel.
How
is the Domain Registration Process Handled?
1.) If you've registered your domain name
through us and chosen us as your hosting company the process is easy.
Upon completing both the registration and hosting order forms, it takes
the DNS tables about 24-48 hours to complete the registration and tie
it in with our Primary and Secondary DNS.
2.) If you've registered your domain name through another registrar but
have wisely chosen us as your hosting solution we'll update your information
for free. However, you will still be responsible for paying the domain
registrar whatever registration fees that are applicable. Upon completing
the hosting order form ensure that you checked the domain transfer box
and provided us with the Domain name that you'd like transferred to our
DNS. It takes the DNS tables about 24-48 hours to complete the registration
and tie it in with our Primary and Secondary DNS.
3.) If you've registered a Domain through us but don't want us to host
it, the DNS tables take about 24-48 hours to complete the registration
and tie it in with whatever Primary and Secondary DNS you chose.
4.) If you've chosen us to host your site but have not registered a Domain
Name through us or any other registrar and choose not to, your site will
only be accessible by using its appropriate IP Address that is sent to
you via email.
When
can I use my domain name?
Upon successful registration/transfer of a domain name their is a 24-48
hour update period. During this time the DNS tables worldwide are updated
to reflect your sites new location.
When
can I access my web site via the Control Panel FTP/POP?
You can literally access your web site via your Control Panel 24/7 from
anywhere around the world. All you need is a computer with an active internet
connection and a browser.
How
do I transfer files to my web site?
By using your customized Control Panel you
can upload files from you computer onto your site. This is done using
your favorite browser. We also support web power tools such as FrontPage
so our clients are free to publish they're sites with any supported FTP
program.
Will
I have unlimited access to update my pages?
There's no limit on the amount of File uploading
you do or the time in which you do it, however you cannot exceed your
disk space amount that you order. You can literally access your web site
via your Control Panel 24/7 from anywhere around the world. All you need
is a computer with an active internet connection and a browser.
Will
people be able to accessing my site with and without the "www"
in front of my domain?
Thanks to the QuickStart Hosting Technical
staff you will be able to access your site either way. They've developed
our top of the line systems to handle your domain name both with and without
the "www".
Can
I setup subdomains?
For each new subdomain a separate hosting account must be purchased. There
is no charge for Domain registration only for the new hosting account.
Can
I register additional domain names to point to a subdirectory of my main
domain?
Yes, you can register various domain names
to point to the exact same site, but they cannot point to a different
subdirectory. Any Domain Name that is parked on one of our servers will
be charged a one-time $10.00 fee.
Can
I use my account for commercial purposes?
Many of our clients utilize us as the backbone
for their e-commerce site and our control panel even comes with a shopping
cart builder to assist you. Creating a website for commercial use is not
against our policy, however we will not be held liable for any of your
transactions or customer relations as a result of you site transactions.
